Glitched Majestic

Glitched Majestic is a unique framed digital artwork by Dex Hannon, part of his Blythian Memes series. The piece was inspired by the monumental ship Vole au Vent, which once dominated the skyline of Blyth Port.

Hannon reworked frames from his experimental film to capture the scale, movement and power of the vessel. Through layers of digital manipulation, the image evolves into an abstract composition that explores the tension between technology, industry and memory.

The title refers to both the ship’s grandeur and its digital fragmentation, reflecting how time and perception distort what we remember. Each artwork is ready to hang and signed on the reverse. Glitched Majestic embodies the spirit of Blyth’s transformation, merging industrial history with a contemporary digital voice.
